to the underprivileged children of Latin America.
Sumando Manos was founded in 2005 by a group of friends, residents of Miami with the purpose of bringing help to the children of Argentina.
We are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers and friends who want to make the world a better place.
We have a common concern: not to sit on our hands when we can do something to help and the needs are so urgent. And the needs are so urgent!
Financial responsibility is of the utmost importance to Sumando Manos. We have strict procedures for accurate accounting and financial reporting in order to verify that the funds and products are adequately used.
In most cases, cash is not sent, but the work is done directly, supervised by people from our foundation.
We are a non-governmental association absolutely independent from any political, state or religious entity. The work of our foundation is supported by and depends exclusively upon the contributions of donors who consider our association to be an effective and direct means to help and support of the most abandoned sectors of the population, particularly the most helpless: the children.
